The Grand Prix of Qatar is one of the highest-production rounds on the Aquabike World Championship calendar, run on flat Gulf water in Doha with the city skyline as a backdrop and finals frequently held under floodlights. Ski GP1, Runabout GP1 and Freestyle all feature.
The glassy water rewards outright horsepower and long full-throttle sections, so setup and engine preparation are often the difference between the podium and mid-pack.
